This festive season, glam up your style with Kaftan Kurti

Since last year, once a pandemic has hit the lives of the people globally and people have started spending more time indoors, fashion has changed tremendously. Everyone is more inclined towards sustainable clothing and are mostly investing in clothing that is comfortable to carry on both in-house and on a getaway with friends.

Since last year most of the occasions and gatherings were limited but with everything slowly opening up, everyone is going to make up for the missed fun and family gatherings this festive season. India being the country of festivals and tradition, clothing and accessorising yourself becomes an event of prime importance.

This season focuses on the latest fab and focusing on comfortable clothing, kaftan kurta is going to be the most preferred clothing. Women’s kaftan section has evidently become very popular especially cotton fabric. Every designer house has introduced kaftan kurta in different forms in the past year and has continued experimenting with different styles and designs.

The option of kaftan coming in different length formats is an added advantage for ladies. One can wear it as a fabulous dress and hang out with friends or wear it at the comfort of the home. The other benefit is the versatility of it to be worn by different sizes of women and has longevity. The shelf life of kaftan is long due to its free-flowing nature. It’s one dress that has multiple functionalities. Recently celebrities have been seen wearing Kaftan at their home and then with bold patterns putting up kaftan dress for birthday occasions as well. Malaika Arora recently wore a kaftan dress in a beautiful ivory colour with a golden print during her recent getaway with friends in Mumbai. We love how celebrities are endorsing this freestyle clothing and portraying the culture of comfort and convenience overdone tight dresses with a heavy make-up look.

Youngsters are following up the footsteps of renowned celebrities and even the Instagram influencers are portraying kaftan dresses as their favourites. Kaftan dresses are seen everywhere with different patterns and delicate hand embroidery done on them.

At prints and weaves, cotton kaftans are hand made with pure cotton and digitally printed with floral motifs. The prints and colour palettes themselves portray joy. We had so much fun working on the patterns which not only resemble joy but are perfect to wear both at home and outside. A kaftan has become a vacation necessity and we are sure to add on the patterns which resemble vacation in itself with palm trees and vibrant hues.

If you have any more ideas of design to go in the kaftan feel free to DM us so that we can work on it and introduce it in our new arrivals.
